| Because Responding in Comments Seems Impersonal.Smaug: Time's got nothing to do with it. It's quality of people. You, to paraphrase a friend, are one of the rare champagnes of peoples.
Silverfoot: ::catches, spins, sets down, scoops up, hugs, spins, sets down, pounces:: 'Nuff said.
Beezerbub: Anytime you're wondering how my kiddos are doing, all you need to do is think "Today, TGIB was bitten. Thrice." Doesn't matter what day it is, you'll be right.
Aitapata: Ah HA! So that's the secret, is it? GMail! You people are screwed, now.
Lady J: Not enough words, Lady. Missed you.
SinningSaint: Holy Hell, you're still around?! ....SHITE! ::quickly tries to put your things back without you noticing:: It's just... You know... with you being all shadowy and such, I figured you wouldn't need your stereo... or money... or house... Glad to see you're still around. I was actually trying to explain to someone the other day how "'net-friends" work, who was who and what they did, using the board as an example. When I got to you, I said something along the lines of "Imagine a peaceful medieval village. Now, imagine someone in said village built a weapon of unimaginable power to use against said village's enemies." "He's that person?" "No, he's the effing weapon."
Jenalou: Again, you people are screwed. :D
Young_Wolf: You damn well are, and you damn well know it. You've got too much dirt on me not to be considered "in the fold," so to speak! Just kidding.

| Nostalgia. Lots and lots of it.It has come to my attention, after a long bout of having to elbow its way to the front of the line as per the norm, that I seldom if ever get to talk to a lot of the people I used to love talking to. There were certain people, and you all know who you are, who I actually felt happier just seeing their name on my IM lists. People I consider my closest friends even though we live miles, or even countries, apart.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's anyone's fault. No one's ignoring anyone, I think we just all kinda grew up, or out, or something. Whee, commas.
And I'm not begging for attention or anything, don't worry.
Truth of the matter is, it's 2:39 in the morning, I'm half-drunk, reading old threads over on the board, and mourning the loss of "the good ol' days." I miss you people. I missed a huge chunk of time where apparently a lot changed, and now I'm trying to worm my weasely little way back into everyone's circle.
Don't kid yourselves, I -will- succeed. Whether you want me to or not!
I'm tenacious. (BIG WORD! YAY! I get a cookie.)

| Okay. Since my comp is being a hooker and won't let me get to the NG board... STILL... I guess I'll announce it here and hope people still glance at this thing more often than I do.
St. Patrick's Day, 2007, I will be marrying my fiance, Amber. Mwahaha. All the NG posters are invited, of course, if any of you actually wants to spend that much money to come see me possibly kilt-clad. Just drop me an e-mail or something.
So, yeah, that's what's goin' on in my life. You? o.o | | |
| Okay, ladies and gents. Some of you may have noticed that I've been away for quite some while this time, with little to no contact with anyone. There are several reasons for this, and for once in my life, they're all good.
One. ThatGuyInBlack, the famed loner and hopeless romantic is no longer so hopeless. I've been seeing a beautiful girl named Amber for a short while that seems like a lifetime, now. We mesh perfectly. I'll have to tell you all more about her later, as I don't have much time at the moment. (Those of you who feel hurt by my not telling anyone, just remember- I'm the type who jinxes himself constantly on things like this, so I kept her my little secret for a while.)
Oh, I should mention that she has two awesome kids, Makaila (4 yrs. old) and Seth (2 yrs. old), whom I'm currently educating all about the fae.
Second, I'm getting a promotion at work. So now, instead of being embarassed when I say "I work at Blockbuster", I can be embarassed when I say "I'm a manager at Blockbuster." Ah, well. It's a step up and more money.
And third (this is where most of my energy goes right now), I'm currently involved in the "rescue" of a local metaphysical/pagan/knick-knack shop called Hall's Haven. I've become very close friends with the owner, Linda, and am doing everything in my power to help her keep the store open and change it into what she wants it to be. An educational center and day-spa for the Pagan, Wiccan, Shamanistic, and what-have-you community. That's going to take a lot of money, so I'm going through ideas left and right of ways to collect it, but I'm determined to help her turn her shop into the community center we so desperately need.
I'll write more to you all later, but for now, I need to get ready for work. Love you all.
